HAMPTON HILL VILLAGE FETE & GREEN FAIR Sat 18 July 2009 Miniature Garden Competition Rules 1. This competition is open to anyone of any age. 2. Gardens must be designed in a round, oval or square bowl, tray or tin and no larger than 35cm x 35cm (18 inches x 18 inches) or 35cm (18 inches) diameter. 3. Bring your entries with your signed entry form to the Grow Your Own Marquee by 11:30am on the day of the event and pay the 50p entry fee to exhibit. 4. Entries will be judged in the 'Grow Your Own' Marquee at 1:00pm. 5. There will be 1st, 2nd & 3rd prizes and certificates for best designed garden in two age categories:
a) under 13 yrs
6. Prizes will be presented on stage at 4:30pm 7. Winning entrants are required to be with their exhibits at 5:30pm to be photographed. 8. Photographs of the winning miniature gardens and designers will be displayed on the Hampton Hill Fete website until the following year. 8. Entrants must leave their exhibits in place until 6pm after which they can collect their containers if they wish. After 7pm all remaining containers and contents will be recycled.
