The cream of the best local bands has been handpicked for your enjoyment. All bands are providing their performances for free so please dig deep when they send someone around with a jug for your loose change!


DR BOB & BIG JOHN ~ ON STAGE 12:15pm

Dr Bob & Big John play a blend of Blues, Rock & Country, featuring songs made famous by performers as diverse as Robert Johnson, Bo Diddley, The Rolling Stones, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Steve Earle, and Bruce Springsteen.

Dr Bob’s roots lie in the acoustic folk-blues scene of the 1960’s, while Big John served his apprenticeship in the London Pub-rock scene of the 1970’s. Dr Bob’s driving acoustic rhythm guitar and passionate vocals combine with Big John’s Stratocaster virtuosity, making music that can take you from Chicago to Nashville, New Orleans to Eel Pie Island and Bushy Park in less time than it takes to change a guitar string!

Electrifying, contemporary folk / rock, haunting vocals, powerful songs, scorching electric violin and  extraordinary flute. Elaine with Sim or Gavin, Annie, Joey & Russell play as the completely live, electrifying live band, “Kindred Spirit”; featuring Elaine’s beautiful vocals, powerful songs & guitar playing, Sim and Gavin's incredible violin playing, Annie’s brilliant flute & sax playing, Joey’s solid bass guitar & beautiful harmony vocals & Russell’s expert drumming.

The LOUDSHIRTS are a hard rockin’ close harmony’ blues influenced rock covers band fronted by brothers Jeff and Gary Summers and supported by ex Visitor 2035 drummer Nigel "Reg" Robinson. Jeff has an illustrious recording career including international releases alongside ex-MSG vocalist Gary Barden and ex-thin Lizzy guitarist Brian Robertson. Jeff is current guitarist and songwriter with international recording band STATETROOPER. The LOUDSHIRTS are a regular and popular act on the London music scene and will have you dancing around Bushy Park, candy floss in hand, to the beat of their fabulous renditions of songs we all love to love!


BLUE FUSES ~ ON STAGE: 2:30pm

The Blue Fuses have been gigging with their current line up since the end of 1994. Originally a blues band, they now cover pretty much everything from AC/DC to Frank Zappa, via Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple. In other words, CLASSIC ROCK! The band delivers a tight, highly entertaining performance, every time. This is not a band that hides in the corner apologising for its existence! They play for the sheer enjoyment of entertaining an audience.

 


PADDY GOES TO HOLYHEAD ~ ON STAGE: 3:15pm

This highly entertaining band led by the fantastic showman & vocalist Danny Hynes, will rock your socks off! The current line up is Andy Burgess (lead guitar & rhythm) Tino Troy (lead guitar & rhythm), Chris Troy (bass) & Simon Jeffrey (drums). Between them they have worked with an impressive line of artists over the years including the band Praying Mantis, Bernie Torme, Chris Irvin &, the bands Weapon & Grand Slam to name but a few. Guaranteed to  be a night to remember!!

 


EAST OF EALING ~ ON STAGE: 5:00pm

Crewed by the electric fiddle driven Roots Rockers that are EAST OF EALING.

London based, but including global themes, at times political, dark, humorous, irreverent!
But, always foot stomping dancey!

With influences from Celtic to Cajun, Ska to South African, Reggae to Russian and Zeppelin to Zanzibar, their original numbers take passengers heads around the world and feet to the dance floor

 


RED ROCKET ~ ON STAGE: 6:00pm

A four piece covers band, based in West London, consisting of female vocals, backed by guitar, female bass/vocals and drums/vocals. Mark and Mike (previously with 'Bliss') wanted another challenge with a change in direction towards rockier songs. Steph, who had sung for Bliss on many occasions was asked if she knew of a bass player to form a new band. Sophie joined them on bass & vocals and after a few meetings, rehearsals were held and REDROCKET was born. The name comes from South Park. Their excellent versions of well known cover songs not normally heard on the circuit brings a refreshing change....
 

 


BRAINCHILD ~ ON STAGE: 6:45pm

"Crucial" Chris, Max and Smash met in November 2004 and performed together as the covers band "What's Next", whilst writing and recording. CHRIS DOWLING (Guitar & Vocals) learned his guitar skills at the age of 12 from Marc Bolan and went on to play his first professional gig at 15, when he supported Sparks in front of a crowd of 1.000 people. Since then he has played professionally with several bands and has supported artists such as Tina Turner, Rod Stewart, Joe Cocker and Queen. KEVIN 'SMASH' O'NEILL (Drums & vocals) Smash gave up football for music at 16. After playing with various top Midlands bands he worked with Robert Plant (Honeydrippers) and Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac), before moving to London to form 'Idle Flowers'. MASSIMO AVELLANO (MAX) (Bass) Max started playing bass at 18 and after performing several live gigs, moved to London in 2000, where he has continued session work, including large festival gigs.


RED ~ ON STAGE: 7:30pm

RED (formerly Shades of Red) are regulars on the West London gig circuit and have built up a solid reputation for outstanding musicianship and electrifying live performances. Their renditions of Pink Floyd numbers are truly astounding!
