DR BOB & BIG JOHN
~ ON STAGE 12:15pm
Dr Bob & Big John play a blend of Blues, Rock
& Country, featuring songs made famous by performers as diverse
as Robert Johnson, Bo Diddley, The Rolling Stones, Creedence
Clearwater Revival, Steve Earle, and Bruce Springsteen.
Dr Bob’s roots lie in the acoustic folk-blues
scene of the 1960’s, while Big John served his apprenticeship in
the London Pub-rock scene of the 1970’s. Dr Bob’s driving
acoustic rhythm guitar and passionate vocals combine with Big
John’s Stratocaster virtuosity, making music that can take you
from Chicago to Nashville, New Orleans to Eel Pie Island and
Bushy Park in less time than it takes to change a guitar string! |
