The main aim of this
event is to reduce our carbon footprints by making
us all aware of the simple ways to do so without
losing the luxuries of life we are all so lucky to
have become accustomed to. The other objectives are
to:

Raise the
community spirit - bring families & individuals together to
celebrate and realise the benefits of living in the London Borough
of Richmond upon Thames

Raise awareness - of local services,
community & support organisations & environmental issues
affecting us all

Raise funds - for and awareness of
a different local charity each year as well as one global
environmental charity

Raise a sense
of pride - in our local environment & support
one global environmental charity

Raise our profile
- promote Hampton Hill's identity as a separate village

Raise a
platform - where local businesses & service providers can
publicise themselves

Raise our glasses
- to all those that work tirelessly to preserve & protect our local
environment

Raise a smile
- on all local residents faces especially the youngest & oldest generations...

THE ORGANISER
I would like to thank
everyone for their support and advice so far, but we
do need more support from local residents &
businesses to make this event one to remember!
Although it is still
some 9 months away many things need to be organised
well in advanced so all offers of assistance and
confirmations of bookings as soon as possible would
be very much appreciated.
Together we can make it carry on for many years to come.
Anything you can offer (even if it is just ideas and
contacts) are extremely welcome!
